Hemingways Collection, the renowned luxury hospitality group, has unveiled a refreshed brand identity to mark its expansion across East Africa.
The rebrand follows Hemingways’ recent move into Rwanda with the acquisition of The Retreat in Kigali, alongside the launch of Hemingways River Camp in Kenya’s Masai Mara.
For nearly 40 years, Hemingways has been synonymous with warm, personalised hospitality and exceptional destinations, from the pristine beaches of Watamu to the vibrant energy of Nairobi and the untamed beauty of the Mara. The new identity reflects this heritage while reimagining luxury travel for today’s discerning guests.

The rebrand also reinforces Hemingways’ long-standing commitment to conservation and community. Across its properties, the group invests in solar energy, reduces single-use plastics, sources locally, and partners with organisations like the Maa Trust in the Masai Mara. These initiatives ensure every guest experience contributes to protecting wildlife and empowering local communities.
