On July 29th, 2025, Malipo Circles, in partnership with Britam, Inclusivity Solutions, and Sasa Doctor, launched an innovative Hospicash + Telehealth product aimed at transforming how Kenyan women and their families access healthcare. It’s affordable, community-driven, and designed with real-life challenges in mind.
For just Ksh 130 per month, customers can receive Ksh 1,000 per day for each night they’re hospitalized, plus weekly teleconsultations with a doctor. That means fewer financial worries when illness strikes, and the convenience of expert medical advice from the comfort of your home. The package also includes tele-education sessions and annual health check-ups, ensuring users can take a proactive approach to their health instead of only reacting when problems arise.
The product will be rolled out through Malipo Circles’ 10,000+ chamas across Kenya. If you’re in a chama, chances are you’ll soon hear about it. Malipo Circles has been empowering savings groups with digital tools, and now they’re extending that empowerment to health and wellness.
