Tusker Oktobafest Thrills Mombasa and Nanyuki, Gears Up for Kisumu Finale
The Tusker Oktobafest 2025 tour continued its vibrant celebration of Kenyan beer, music, and culture this past weekend with unforgettable events in Mombasa and Nanyuki. The festival now heads to Kisumu for its highly anticipated grand finale on Saturday, November 8 at Atella Beach Resort.
In Mombasa, the iconic New Big Tree in Bamburi came alive as thousands turned up for a night of music, dance, and beer experiences. Rap powerhouse Khaligraph Jones headlined the event alongside Ndovu Kuu, Tipsy Gee, and Mombasa’s own Honest Blind Boy, supported by DJs Benitez, Mostwanted, Issa Platinum, DJ Daffy, and crowd favourite MC Gogo.
Festival goers enjoyed local cuisine, interactive brand activations, and beachside performances, highlighted by a surprise birthday celebration for MC Gogo and Khaligraph Jones’ high energy set that had the crowd chanting along.
Meanwhile, in Nanyuki, fans gathered at Stingers Lounge for a night of electrifying performances featuring Toxic Lyrikali, Ayrosh, Wanjine, and Njerae, with DJs Abby, Deewiz, Tibz, Grauchi, Kaneda, and resident DJ Doubleblack keeping the energy high. MCs Azeezah Hashim and Kibunja hosted the night, which continued in full swing despite the rain.
Njerae’s soulful performance drew cheers, while Toxic Lyrikali’s powerful set turned into a full crowd sing along before DJ Grauchi closed the night with a legendary mix.
The back to back events followed successful editions in Nairobi and Eldoret, reinforcing Tusker’s commitment to celebrating Kenyan culture and connecting with consumers across the country.
“The recent editions of Tusker Oktobafest in Mombasa and Nanyuki truly captured the vibrant spirit of each community,” said Brigid Wambua, Senior Brand Manager, Tusker. “We are now incredibly excited to bring this unmatched experience to Kisumu for our grand finale.”
The Kisumu Lake Edition will feature an exciting entertainment lineup and immersive beer experiences. Tickets are available at the venue for KES 1,000, redeemable for either five bottles of Tusker Lager, Pilsner, or Balozi, or four bottles of Whitecap, Manyatta, Tusker Cider, Tusker Malt, Tusker Lite, or Guinness.
Beyond the main festivals, Tusker Oktobafest continues nationwide with over 200 on trade activations, flash sales, and exclusive discounts on KBL beers via ke.thebar.com and select e commerce partners.
